Here are a couple of ideas I came up with whilst editing in Photoshop. Just a simple logo for my magazine that can be incorporated in order to increase consistency.
Here is an example of the logo being put into use. This time, I decided to add it as an element to make the page number area more exciting and interesting.
The idea behind the logo came from using the first letter of the masthead, in the same font, as there isn't really any other way to shorten or make the title into a relevant image. I then decided to reverse the colour use - so white on red instead of red on white in order to make it consistent yet different from the masthead.
